So why the blog.. again?

I’ve failed doing this blog thing multiple times before, but yet I’m giving it another shot. The internet is overloaded with useless blogs, most about people writing about their boring, everyday activities that honestly, no one cares about. So why am I joining them again? The answer is simple, I’m not. I’m going to attempt to differentiate, be creative and innovative.

Reason for this surprising push and comeback to the blog world is my journey to California to intern at Yahoo!. It’s truly an amazing opportunity that I simply coulnd’t pass up. Going away 2000 miles to Yahoo! meant passing up an opportunity to go to Spain and see a lot of my family (for the first time in over 7 years) and it also meant leaving my family and my girlfriend behind for a few months. With their support behind me though, I’m finally back on track and flying out Monday (May 8th) to San Jose, Ca.

On this blog you will be able to read about my Yahoo! internship experience, about my (hopefully exciting) stay in California and my adjustment to the life back in Pittsburgh as summer draws to a close. Stay tuned to what promises to be an exciting summer!

What’s up with the design?

Those of you that know me personally might be asking yourself that question. I’m a creative freak, especially for all web things including webpages, so seeing a templated design may be rather odd to you (hell, even to me!). Have no fear, I’ll update the design with my own as soon as I get acclimated to this new computer. I’ve recently switched from PC to the innovative world of Mac and have been loving it. Unfortunately, I now need new licences for all the software, so it’ll take time. For now, enjoy this great design I found online.
