A company called Codeweavers recently announced a software package in development that would allow some Windows based applications to run on new Intel Macs.

Today, they released CrossOver Mac to the public beta. The interesting thing about this software is that unlike BootCamp or Parallels, it does not require you to install Windows on your machine. Instead, it will run Windows programs right in OS X!

Of course, you can only run a limited number of programs, but Codeweavers already released a list of about 2000 compatible applications which is pretty impressive.
