Ok, so Facebook messed up once with Feeds. Facebook simply took all the fun out of stalking by collecting and revealing all kinds of users' activity on the site. After enormous public outcry, Facebook rushed to release new set of privacy restrictions that users can modify in their accounts. Great. Problem fixed! Such a negative impact should have never happened in the first place. Many wondered if they even bothered with a simple focus group or just blatantly rolled out this new feature without thinking about the consequences. September 14th, 2006In a press release earlier today, Microsoft let the world know all the juicy facts about its new upcoming product and what now looks like a promising iPod competitor, finally. And who better to release such a product than Microsoft, Apple's long-time foe? In my eyes, this product is great. iRiver for years has tried to come up with something worthy. Unfortunately, to this day they're still lagging behind. Microsoft, on other hand, has created so much hype around this topic, that they simply can't not deliver at this point. September 8th, 2006Pittsburgh is undoubtedly a sports town. Although, our baseball and hockey teams are not in the spotlight now, our football teams are something to look out for. Yes, I said teams: Pittsburgh Panthers (college) and Steelers (pro). Last week, Panthers beat Virginia at the home opener and today, Steelers demolished Miami Dolphins! Anyone in Pittsburgh of course, expected such an outcome, but there were many skeptics.
