Pittsburgh is undoubtedly a sports town. Although, our baseball and hockey teams are not in the spotlight now, our football teams are something to look out for.

Yes, I said teams: Pittsburgh Panthers (college) and Steelers (pro). Last week, Panthers beat Virginia at the home opener and today, Steelers demolished Miami Dolphins! Anyone in Pittsburgh of course, expected such an outcome, but there were many skeptics. Check out this image from Yahoo!’s front page:

I was pretty damn surprised to see our team being described as tarnished. True, our star quarterback is currently out due to the emergency appendectomy performed earlier this week. But how does that make us tarnished?

Nonetheless, Steelers definitely proved to be the winners that they truly are causing Miami to fumble multiple times, get sacked and get intercepted twice! Also, Willie Parker had some great running plays totalling 115 yards for the night with 29 carries. Great game.
